Today’s global challenges are enormous and need to be addressed urgently and concurrently. There is no doubt that structural and systemic transformations are required to tackle these crises, eliminate inequality and achieve universal human rights and genuine development. But it is also clear that responses from multilateral institutions and governments continue to fall short in addressing these arising from unequal power relations between the Global South and the Global North, within societies, between women and men.
The IPRN Forum and Strategy Workshop provides a platform for people’s researchers from civil society and social movements in Africa to analyze and strategize on how to navigate these multiple intersecting challenges. The Forum and Strategy Workshop hopes to contribute to strengthening the African people’s aspiration for a new global order that realizes the people’s individual and collective rights to development.
To enable participation by engaged individuals and organizations, the IPRN Secretariat invites applications for sponsorship to the Forum and Workshop.
